How to get a blank or invisible name in Among Us

Players have found a way to leave their names empty to trick others who try to identify them.

Among Us is a game of deception and stealth, where being able to identify other players at the faintest glimpse can be the key to winning. But what if there was a way for you to make your name invisible to the other players in the game?

Among Us features upto ten players who are spawned in a spaceship. Out of them, there are some impostors who the crewmates have to find out and kick from the ship before they manage to kill everyone. Crewmates have to use their wits to deduce who the impostor is while simultaneously doing tasks scattered across the ship to win.

Each player in the game has to start with a name that, along with their color, is generally used to identify them as a potential suspect or crewmate. That is the reason why the game prohibits you to leave your name empty. However, some players have found a way for you to bypass this and make your name completely invisible to others, and here’s how it’s done.

All you need to do is to set your name as a certain character which although exists, is invisible to everyone. The “Hangul Filler” is a Korean character which can be entered as your name in Among Us and join a game with an invisible name

  1. Click on the “Hangul Filler” character inside these parentheses and copy it (ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ);
  2. Launch Among Us
  3. Click on ‘Online’
  4. Click on the box which allows you to add your name
  5. Paste what you copied
  6. Join a game

That’s all you need to do to make your name invisible to others in Among Us. Be warned though, others can still use your color to identify you, but it’ll surely make life a bit more difficult for whoever it is you’re playing with.
