Amouranth signs with Kick

Amouranth has become the latest streamer to leave Twitch for Kick on her seventh stream anniversary.

The biggest female streamer on Twitch has been at the epicentre of several controversies and has been on the receiving end of Twitch’s penalties for the longest of times. While many may argue that her content isn’t fit to be on Twitch, there is no denying the fact that the loss of her viewer base will severely affect Twitch.

Her announcement stream was equally hilarious and insulting for Twitch. We can see her starting her anniversary stream on Twitch and leaving for Kick midway. This happened within days of Kick roping in xQc.

“So, 100 million dollar deals have started… Can I get one of those?” she said in her stream and left for Kick.

The details of her deal are not revealed there is a chance that she might not be streaming exclusively on Kick, unlike xQc. While she did not explain the reason behind this decision, we can assume that a better revenue split might have been the motivation.

Twitch is losing streamers left and right and the recent change in policies is not helping their cause either. Unless Twitch does something to retain the streamers we might see it suffer the same fate as Mixer.
