IShowSpeed has been one of the most prominent content creators online in recent times but his roots trace back to early 2020 when he was known for crazy experiments and pranks. IShowSpeed was able to amass a legion of followers on Twitch before he was hit with a permanent ban who followed him to other platforms when he was forced to migrate.
Since his ban, IShowSpeed has only grown in terms of reach and influence to the point especially due to his association with Football and Cristiano Ronaldo. While there are mixed opinions about him on social media, his viewership rivals that of the biggest creators on platforms like Twitch and YouTube.
While no one knows why Speed was unbanned after all these years given permanent bans cannot be revoked according to their policy. In a conversation with Kai Cenat, the CEO of Twitch revealed that they are planning to give the permanently banned streamers a second chance at coming back to which Kai felt Speed deserves another chance and this might be just that.
Speed hasn’t officially responded to this but we can assume that he is aware. While many might want him to come back to Twitch it can also be said that his YouTube family has grown in numbers which doesn’t justify him coming back to Twitch to regrow the same followerbase from halfway again.
It is unlikely that he return to Twitch but he might use it as a secondary medium to stream that helps maintain a healthy user base on Twitch as opposed to completely abandoning the platform. Only time can tell what he chooses to do with his freshly revived Twitch account with a decent follower count and until then we enjoy his content on YouTube.
