KSI and Logan Paul’s PRIME may have to pay $5 Million

In August of 2023, Logan Paul and KSI’s PRIME was served with a lawsuit for adding harmful chemicals in the Grape flavor of their energy drink for which they may have to pay damages worth $5 Million.

According to the filing, a significant amount of per- and polyfluoralkyl compounds, also referred to as “forever chemicals,” are present in grape hydration flavor the US Environmental Protection Agency claims that these substances can lead to problems with development and reproduction, a higher risk of cancer, and other problems.

“Plaintiff’s damages expert will calculate Plaintiff’s overpayment utilizing a price-premium theory and/or full disgorgement,” it reads.

“Damages claimed by Plaintiff and the putative class exceed $5,000,000.00 exclusive of interests and costs. The exact computation of damages will be disclosed in accordance with the Court’s scheduling order and the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.”

“Plaintiff has not alleged any basis for damages or other relief in this case. The statements above are unsupported and unsupportable. Plaintiff received what she bargained for and has no basis for any relief,” they said.

Looking at the progress of the lawsuit, PRIME might soon be ordered by a judge to pay $5 Million in damages.
