Tommy Fury vs KSI ended up with the young prodigious fighter ending out a narrow victory over the co-founder of PRIME but fans felt the scorecards should have favored the latter which caused an uproar and KSI’s camp to file an official appeal to get their scorecard reevaluated.
Within 24 hours of the release of scorecards, there has been a major change with the scores turned in by the Judges but not what you are probably guessing right now. As it stood before the change, the score from two of the three judges favoured Fury while the last judge considered the match a draw.
Following the score correction, the third judge believes that the score turned in had a mistake and believes a point should have gone Fury’s way thus resulting in a unanimous victory for Tommy Fury. While fans who watched the match live would like to incline towards KSI based on his performance in the ring, the scorecard indicates otherwise.
KSI previously dubbed this match as a “robbery” with his camp filing to get the scorecards evaluated, however, this recent change must have come as a shock.
The updated scores change the whole narrative, while many believe both the fighters were well matched, the judges are clearly going with Tommy Fury. KSI’s request for re-evaluation is yet to come to a conclusion and until then this will count as a landslide victory for the young fighter who is yet to taste defeat.
