Kyedae Doubles Down on Allegations Brought by Ex-employee

Kyedae Receives Offer from Kick Platform

After a former employee claimed that Kick attempted to sign her for less money because of her cancer fight, Kyedae refuted xQc’s claim that the platform never contacted her with an offer.

The drama started when a former Kick employee stated in her video that Kyedae was subjected to a lowball offer from Kick who leveraged her cancer to sign her. xQc at the time defended the platform claiming that this did not happen but Kyedae has revealed that the reality is far from what xQc claims.

“I honestly don’t care. I got an offer from Kick and I declined it. I decided that morally, I didn’t really want to go over to Kick,” she said.

“Even if they did try to exploit me for my cancer… it doesn’t matter. I think it’s weird to say, ‘We can offer her cheaper rates.’ I don’t think there was anyone else publicly battling [cancer], I think.

“I’m not too bothered by it. It doesn’t really matter, because that platform’s f**king dying.”

“I think it’s true. I don’t think there’s a point in her lying,” Kyedae said. “I’ve heard so much worse about my illness that it doesn’t really bother me.”

Kyedae has been one of the most popular streamers on Twitch and her battle with cancer has inspired everyone in the community. While she couldn’t exactly confirm if Kick offered less money due to her condition, she turned the offer down because she did not want to move to the Stake-backed platform.
