Twitch sensation Pokimane has announced that she will launch a secret product that she claims will be the “biggest announcement in her career”.
Pokimane is by far the most viewed female gamer on Twitch and has amassed a fanbase of millions for the past couple of years and while she has launched merchandise before, this seems to be something bigger than that. She announced on Twitter that she is willing to send it to up-and-coming content creators as a part of promoting the product.
It is not the first time a streamer has launched a product and this has more benefits than financial gain alone. Having commercial products helps a streamer get their brands outside the gaming industry and into more traditional ones. Although, we do not know what exactly is the product that Pokimane is launching we cannot ignore the possibility of her launching products that will be enticing to the masses.
“Biggest announcement of my career next Monday,” she wrote on X. “And it’s a product launch! I would love to send it to some smaller / up-and-coming creators — who wants to try it?”
Pokimane has answered back to several lesser-known creators on X, promising to send them her product for review. On top of that, she has committed to giving away 100 boxes which makes sure the internet will be flooded with reviews of her product on launch day i.e. 13th November.
The fact that Pokimane is involved has already generated quite the buzz around this in spite of the fact we do not know what the product is. Suffice it to say we are 4 days away from the launch and only time can tell if the product lives up to the hype.
