As earlier affirmed by the organization, PUBG Corporation has officially registered its Indian subsidiary under the title “PUBG India Private Limited”.
The company is based out of the IT capital of India – Bengaluru, Karnataka. It was registered earlier this week on November 21, 2020 with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India as a subsidiary of a foreign company.
The directors of PUBG India Pvt. Ltd. are Sean Sohn and Kumar Krishan Iyer. Sohn is the head of corporate development at PUBG Corp. (KRAFTON). On the other hand, Kumar is also the director of the Indian subsidiaries of Spotify India, AccuWeather India and Phazr.

Earlier this month, several users reported that the global version of the game was running successfully sans VPN. PUBG Corporation was also transferring data from PUBG Mobile to PUBG Mobile India servers as the users were greeted with “account data migration” message. A few days back, the company was also revamping its Indian website.
With the registration of its subsidiary in India, it is palpable that the Indian version of PUBG Mobile will be trademarked and owned by PUBG India Pvt. Ltd. Also, all the everyday affairs and its employees in India will be employed under this new firm.

The much-celebrated investment worth $100 million will also be undertaken by the Indian subsidiary of PUBG Corporation. All of the in-game monetary transactions including purchasing skins, battle pass, etc. will be taken over by PUBG India Pvt. Ltd.

The Indian version of the game will have green bloodstains, fully clothed characters and time restrictions among others while it will also address the security-related concerns earlier raised by the Indian government.
