The matches for the VCT Masters Shanghai have officially been announced, following a few days of intense competition. Eight teams will now advance to the playoffs from a 12-team tournament that began in the first place. The eligible teams and their matches for the event are shown below.
The Playoffs feature a double-elimination format which offers a second chance to teams in case they lose on the opening day. The playoffs start on May 30th and will run till June 9, 2024, with a million dollars up for grabs and VCT points.
The first-round fixtures are as follows:
- Paper Rex vs G2 esports
- EDWard Gaming vs Team Heretics
- 100 Thieves vs FUT esports
- Fnatic vs GenG Esports
