GodLike Esports, one of the biggest esports organizations in India, has stopped taking part in tier one scrimmage matches for the past few weeks. Talking about this, Shadow revealed why Jonathan does not play at scrims.
Scrimmage matches are meant to be like practice matches where players could hone their skills. These scrims were the closest replica of actual tournaments but lately, the intensity has been missing.
The reason for this is self explanatory as BGMI is currently banned in the country. This ban action taken as a preventive measure to user privacy concerns have turned lethal for esports tournaments.
Recently Shadow was spotted doing livestream and a viewer asked him the reason why Jonathan does not play in scrims. In response, he stated the same reason that Ghatak gave a few weeks back.
He said that Jonathan will return to playing scrims once the game is officially back. The current scenario explains how other teams are playing scrims just for fun and Jonathan gets the same kind of entertainment with classic matches, which he usually plays infront of the audience.
