WuWa 2.0: What’s New in Wuthering Waves?
Kurotami has kicked Wuthering Waves into overdrive with a huge Gacha RPG update. Not only does it take a big step up from 1.4 to WuWa 2.0, but it contains ground-breaking material. New world, NTE characters, new storyline, and Players will meet a brand new Neverness to Everness character (NTE).
The patch will be released on 2 January 2025, the date of the game’s release on PlayStation 5. As a tease, developers are holding a WuWa 2.0 livestream on 21 December with more information to follow.

In the centre of WuWa 2.0 sits Rinascita, a region full of artistic wonders and social drama. Central to it is Ragunna, a masked carnival and a city of elite families with art as leverage.

Meet the New Characters in WuWa 2.0
v2.0 Adds five new NTE characters to the Neverness to Everness (NTE) collection, which increases the number of Resonators. The unveiled heroes include:
Carlotta NTE – 5-star Resonator.
Roccia NTE – Another mighty 5-star Resonator.
The rest are Phoebe NTE, Zani NTE and Brant NTE.
Official posters and teasers, invoking the characters’ exquisite designs and distinct powers, tease the players with the power of the Resonators in combat and adventure.
WuWa 2.0 Livestream and Release Date
The WuWa 2.0 preview livestream is on Dec 21 with world time zones:
NA West: 3 AM
NA East: 6 AM
Europe: 12 PM
China: 7 PM
Players can tune in to hear about exclusives, such as gameplay trailers and character appearances. Its official release is scheduled for 2 January 2025, the same day the game hits PlayStation 5.
